Good [Morning/Afternoon/Evening], Ladies and Gentlemen!

We’re here today to celebrate a very special occasion – the upcoming arrival of a new bundle of joy! It gives us great pleasure to welcome you all to this wonderful baby shower, where we will be showering the mother-to-be with love, gifts, and well wishes.

As we gather here today, we reflect on the joy and excitement that comes with welcomming a new life into the world. It’s a time of hope, anticipation, and love, and we’re honored to be here to share in this special moment.

Before we begin, I would like to take a moment to thank everyone for coming and for all the love and support you have shown during this exciting time. We are all thrilled to be here to share in this special occasion.

So let’s get started! It’s time to shower the mom-to-be with all the love, support, and excitement that she deserves as we prepare to welcome the newest member of our comunity.

Introducing the Family

We have prepared some fun games and activities for you to enjoy and to shower the parents-to-be with love and blessings. But before we start, let’s hear from the proud parents themselves. Please welcome [mom-to-be] and [dad-to-be] to the stage.

[mom-to-be] and [dad-to-be] say a few words about their journey, their feelings, their hopes and their gratitude.

[parent to be speech]

Thank you [mom-to-be] and [dad-to-be] for sharing your heartfelt words with us. We are all very happy for you and we can’t wait to meet your little angel.

The Gift

Now, it’s time for the most important part of the baby shower: the gifts. We have a special table where you can place your gifts for mom-to-be. Please come up one by one and present your gifts.

[Call each guest by name and ask them to present their gifts. Thank them for their generosity and wish them well.]

Thank you all for your wonderful gifts. And thank you for being here today to celebrate this special occasion with us. We hope you had a great time and enjoyed yourselves.

Fun Facts

First, let’s start with some fun facts about babies. Did you know that a baby’s brain is 25% of its total weight by the time it is born? Or that a baby can recognize its mother’s voice just hours after birth? These are just a few of the amazing facts about babies that we will be discussing today.

Did you know that, newborn babies have more bones than adults? Babies are born with about 300 bones, while adults have only 206. This is because some of the baby’s bones are made of cartilage that later fuse together to form larger bones.

Did you know that, newborn babies can cry without tears? Babies do not produce tears until they are about four to 13 weeks old. This is because their tear ducts are not fully developed yet. However, they can still make crying sounds to express their needs and emotions.

The Games

Now, let’s move on to the games. We have divided you into two teams: Team Pink and Team Blue. Each team will compete in different challenges to win points and prizes. The first game is called [game name]. Here are the rules: …

[Explain the rules of the game and start the game. After the game, announce the winner and the points. Repeat for other games.]

After all the games are over, announce the final score and the winning team.

Congratulations to Team [Pink/Blue] for winning the baby shower games. You have earned yourselves some fabulous prizes. Please come up to collect them.

Guest the Object in the Diaper Game

The next game we are going to play is called “guess the object in the diaper”. This game will test your sense of smell and your courage. Here’s how it works:

We have prepared some diapers with different objects inside them. Some of them are edible, some of them are not. Some of them smell good, some of them smell bad.

Each team will have to choose one member to be the guesser. The guesser will have to sniff the diaper and try to guess what’s inside it.
The other team members can give clues or hints, but they cannot say the name of the object or show it to the guesser.

The guesser will have 10 seconds to make a guess. If they guess correctly, they will earn 10 points for their team. If they guess incorrectly, they will lose 10 points for their team.

The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Are you ready to play? Let’s start with Team Pink. Who will be your guesser? Please come up to the stage.

[Call the guesser from Team Pink and hand them a diaper. Start a timer and let them sniff and guess. Repeat for other diapers and other team.]

That was fun and funny. Let’s see the final score. Team Pink has [score] points and Team Blue has [score] points. The winner is Team [Pink/Blue]. Congratulations!

Gift Opening

Now, it’s time for [mom-to-be] to open her gifts. [mom-to-be], are you ready?

[mom-to-be] opens her gifts one by one, and you can make comments about the gifts and thank the guests for their generosity.

Closing

As we come to the end of the baby shower, I would like to thank everyone once again for coming and for making this day so special for [mom-to-be]. We hope you had a great time, and we wish [mom-to-be] all the best as she prepares for the arrival of her little one.

Thank you and goodbye.
